Research Interests

In addition to teaching at theGraduate Level for INTM, Dr. Fechner is Manager of Product Supply for Griffith Laboratories, a company that creates customized food products. Her responsibilities include ensuring tactical execution of the production plan to meet sales order ship dates, logility forecasting, preparing production plans to drive raw material procurement, staffing plans and capacity utilization, and managing working capital for stocked finished goods. Prior to joining Griffith Laboratories Dr. Fechner held a number of Demand Planner positions fromSupply Chain Analyst to Senior Demand Planner with various food-related companies. She also has extensive experience in Project Management. As a Consultant, she designed and implemented an SAP master data governance strategy, and created sytems for management of people, processes, technology, knowledge, and customers for large helathcare and educational entities.

Dr. Fechner is President of APICS-Chicago (2014), and a board member serving in various roles since 2004.  She also participates on the APICS Products and Services subcommitee, and the IBF (Institute of Business Forecasting and Planning).  She holds the following professional certifications:
