Short-Term Goals

My short-term goals are the ones I set for myself every single day. Whether the goal for today is finishing my assignments, doing research, or attending my student organization meetings, the foundation of each of my short-term goals is trying my best to be the most productive I can be. I am enrolled in a dual admission B.S/D.O program with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. To matriculate into this medical school, I must meet the perquisite requirements. The classes I must take to fulfill these requirements call for an intense workload which can only be successfully completed with proper time management. As a result, much of my short-term goals have to do with incorporating times to study for most of my classes at least once a day. Those that truly know me know that balance is something I value in life, and all my goals are oriented in a fashion that will allow me to achieve this balance. I always want to make time for my friends and family and be involved in some type of service in the community.

Long-Term Goals

My long-term career goals are to practice medicine to save lives and improve the overall wellbeing of my patients and those around me. I would like to join Doctors Without Borders to provide care for those in low resource communities who aren’t fortunate enough to have proper access to healthcare. My ideal situation would be to have a family of my own that is financially stable, happy, and healthy.
