Mobile Pay for Visitor Parking

Mobile Pay is available for Mies campus visitor parking. Mobile Pay, powered by Text2Park,  conveniently allows parkers to purchase visitor parking fast using their mobile phone.

Mobile Pay is available for immediate use in the following Mies Campus Locations:

Lot A4 (MTCC)- Lot Code- ILTECHA4

Lot A6 (MSV)- Lot Code- ILTECHA6

Lot B4 (Kaplan)- Lot Code- ILTECHB4

Lot B5 (Hermann Hall)- Lot Code- ILTECHB5

Lot D4 (Galvin Tower)- Lot Code- ILTECHD4

To use Mobile Pay:

1. Look for the signs with the lot code or QR Code for the location.
2. Text lot code where your vehicle is located to 25023 OR scan Mobile Pay QR Code using your mobile phone.
3. Click the link and enter your license plate number and payment information. 
4. Park your vehicle and proceed to your campus destination.

You will receive an invitation by text to add more time if needed (15) minutes before your parking session expires.

Additional Mobile Pay Information:

A $0.50 cent convenience fee will apply to all transactions.

Sign up for an account if you want to receive automatic receipts by email and/or track your transactions.

Use this link to look up a receipt from a single transaction.

If you don’t have the specific lot code available, you may text our global campus code, ILTECH to 25023. A link will be provided with a map including our campus locations for you to select. Location services must be enabled on your mobile device to use this feature. 

Illinois Tech departments that wish to sponsor visitor parking for essential business may request a parking validation code here.

Enforcement Hours

Visitor parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in visitor lots campus-wide. Visitor lots are enforced Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise posted.

Visitor Parking Rates

1 Hour - $2.50
2 Hours - $5
3 Hours - $6
6 Hours - $10
All Day - $12 (Valid thru Midnight) Weekly -$35 (Valid 7 days, day of purchase is day 1)

A $0.50 cent convenience fee will apply to all transactions.

*Students, faculty, and staff may continue to purchase Flex Day passes via MyParking. No convenience fee applies.

Visitor parking permits are not refundable.

Accessible Visitor Parking

Visitors displaying a state-issued handicap placard may utilize handicap spaces designated in various visitor parking areas on campus at no cost. Illinois Tech Employees, Students, and Rental Property Tenants with a state-issued placard may park in visitor lots to facilitate closer proximity. In this case, a paid Illinois Tech permit is still required.

Event Parking

Visitor parking is generally first-come, first-served in visitor pay lots. Groups of (15) or more are encouraged to coordinate parking arrangements with the parking office. Please complete an Event Parking Request Form at least (2) weeks prior to your event date, but no later than (72) hours to improve our ability to offer the best arrangements for your event.

Illinois Tech departments that wish to sponsor official guests may request a Mobile Pay Validator account to receive a parking validation pin code. Contact campusbusiness@iit.edu for details and pricing.
