The President’s Student Advisory Council (PSAC) was created by former Illinois Tech President Alan W. Cramb in 2015 to bridge the gap between students and the administration. In the past, this was facilitated by a secretive student organization called the Black Knights. PSAC follows suit, having a similar role to the Black Knights, but, in contrast, is publicly known to the students and administration. This council is in its fifth iteration and continues to fulfill its role as a means to represent the student body by communicating with the administration on its behalf.
