    Distinctive Educational Programs

    The Interprofessional Projects (IPRO) Program features teams of students from a variety of majors that develop solutions to real-world problems using design-centered methodology and innovative thinking.

    The Leadership Academy is a special student training program designed to develop the next generation of global leaders.

    Research Institutes

    The Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH) is a world-class food science research institute focusing on food safety, food defense, and nutrition for stakeholders in government, industry, and academia.

    The Pritzker Institute of Biomedical Science and Engineering is an umbrella organization that enhances the biomedical science and engineering research activities at IIT.

    The Wanger Institute for Sustainable Energy Research is an umbrella organization that joins energy and sustainability research with educational activities across the colleges and institutes at IIT.

    IIT Research Institute is an independent, not-for-profit, contract research organization focusing on the life sciences.
