The Minor in Finance is designed to give non-business majors an overview of the fundamentals of financial and managerial accounting, macro-economic principles, and capital investments and cash flows, as well as a more in-depth understanding of the student’s choice of other topics in finance.

The Minor in Finance is designed to give non-business majors an overview of the fundamentals of financial and managerial accounting, macro-economic principles, capital investments and cash flows, and other topics in finance.

Career Opportunities

An advanced education opens up a variety of career opportunities.

The Minor in Finance consists of a minimum of five courses covering the fundamental principles of finance, economics, investments, and accounting. Students take three required courses and choose at least two from among four specialized finance courses.
