“I am treasurer of Illinois Tech’s Hyperloop club. Our organization is designing and building a small, high-speed transportation pod that is modeled after Elon Musk’s Hyperloop Pod idea. This group has allowed me to learn about new concepts and get additional hands-on experience outside of the classroom. Being the treasurer has given me the opportunity to learn about the business side of a project as well."

“I’m very involved with the university’s newspaper, TechNews, Illinois Tech’s chapter of the Society of Physics Students, and Writers at Illinois Tech (WaIT). Illinois Tech has a large variety of student organizations, and even if you are looking for something that isn’t there, it’s quite straightforward to start your own! I created WaIT during my freshman year, and it’s become a great place for writers to gather together.”
