Guest Speaker: Lauren Braun (M.Des. ’13)

Lauren Braun (M.Des. ’13) works at the intersection of people and product. Over the past 20 years, her career has spanned from international NGOs and public affairs, to product design and innovation. Some of her career highlights include shipping the world’s first consumer 3D body scanner and launching the last five models of the Apple Watch. In 2024, she became Apple's first product marketing manager for the environment, helping to drive deep decarbonization across every product.

Braun received a bachelor’s degree in art history and business from the University of Michigan and a master’s of design from Illinois Tech’s Institute of Design. She resides in San Francisco and occasionally lectures on product management, most recently at Harvard University.
