About CAEE
The Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering (CAEE) prepares our graduates to address the myriad challenges in engineering new and existing infrastructure by offering bachelor degree programs in architectural engineering, civil engineering, and engineering management; master degree programs in several areas of specialization within CAEE (including a number of accelerated master's degree programs); and doctorate programs in civil engineering and environmental engineering.
Both the B.S. in Civil Engineering (CE) and Architectural Engineering (ARCE) programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.

The civil, architectural, and environmental engineering department also offers several graduate certificate programs designed to introduce students to the fundamental core of a specialization area and serve as a gateway to our masters programs. Our primary areas of specialization in both teaching and research include architectural engineering, construction engineering and management, engineering graphics, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and transportation engineering/public works.
Our body of over 400 students are active in a number of student organizations, and our graduates are leaders in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry around the world.
