Dan Lowman, Senior Vice President and Director, Survey Lab at Grenzeback, Glier and Associates (GG+A) will be giving a presentation on careers in analytics on Thursday, October 4 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in DTC Room 470.

Dan has over 18 years of experience in the field of analytics and is currently the Senior Vice-President, Analytics and Director of GG+A Philanthropy Survey Lab at GG+A. He is responsible for consultation of non-profit philanthropy, serving primarily higher education, healthcare, museums, and cultural organizations and large non-profit advocacy and service organizations. He has expertise in analytics, prospect identification, prospect management, campaign planning, and economic/financial forecasting. He also directs and manages the GG+A Philanthropy Survey Lab, which brings together the best of rigorous survey methods, data analysis, and fundraising best practice. He has been working at Grenzebach, Glier and Associates for more than 16 years. Prior to joining GG+A, Dan served as the VP, Business Development at CarePages. He has had clients in all 50 states and 8 countries. He received his bachelor's degree, BA in Sociology from University of Illinois at Chicago.

Based in Chicago, GG+A developed early relationships with a diverse range of members of the nonprofit sector, including Antioch and Berea Colleges, South Chicago Community Services, and the YMCA. Over the following decades, GG+A expanded to serve clients worldwide with a sophisticated mix of expertise in institutional advancement, custom-built analytical tools, and best-practice methodologies. GG+A has provided philanthropic consulting services to more than 2,000 nonprofits in five arenas: higher education, independent schools, healthcare and academic medicine, arts and culture, and civic organizations.
