Spend an evening with Nora Brooks Blakely and writers from the Chicago Quarterly Review #33 on August 28 from 7:00–8:30 p.m. on Zoom.

The Chicago Quarterly Review is a nonprofit, independent literary journal that has published short stories, poems, translations, and essays by both emerging and established writers since 1994. This edition features writers Mona Lisa Saloy, Le Van D. Hawkins, Sharyn Skeeter, and Tsehaye Hebert.

In addition to reading selections from their work, the authors will discuss Black literature as a genre and its relationship with the American literature genre. Blakely will moderate the discussion.
