Description

Learn how to build, test, and deploy mobile apps in a hands-on, student centered environment. This course covers how to use Apple’s latest iOS software development kit and integrated development environment (Xcode) to build, test, and simulate apps for the iPhone. Participants will implement a number of applications, centered around a diverse collection of core APIs and software design patterns.

Developing Mobile Applications in iOS is part of a new series of courses on computer science and software development hosted by the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) Department of Computer Science at 1871 in downtown Chicago. These will include a range of course offerings for software developers interested in extending their skill sets as well as for non-techies who want to understand the innards of the technologies they build their businesses on. The programs are part of a collaboration between IIT’s Department of Computer Science and School of Applied Technology.
