Description
This orientation session will provide details about the department's graduate programs, requirements for the degrees, and practical advice about selecting courses and specializations. All new computer science graduate students should attend. Refreshments will be served.
The attached packet contains information about the myIIT portal and the blackboard and banner systems, registering for classes, and a CS department FAQ. Also highly recommended is Graduate Admission's information for newly admitted students.
Most (perhaps nearly all) of what it says should be applicable to this year's new students.
