Hult Prize Regional Competition

The Hult Prize is the world’s largest student startup competition, challenging university teams to build for-profit ventures that advance at least one United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). Each year, student entrepreneurs from across the globe develop bold, scalable solutions to pressing social and environmental challenges—with the chance to compete for $1 million (USD) in seed funding to bring their ideas to life. This year, the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship will host a Hult Prize Regional Competition on Wednesday, February 25, from 12:30–2 p.m., bringing together five of the top student teams to pitch their ventures in front of judges, mentors, and fellow innovators.

Applications close on February 15, 2026. The winning team from the regional competition will advance to the Hult Prize National Competition in California in April, moving one step closer to the global finals and the $1 million prize.
