On Thursday, April 24, Purdue’s College of Engineering will host the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) Regional Meeting and Symposium. The topic of the symposium is Economic Development Through Technology: Manufacturing in the Midwest.

The day will begin with an NAE (members only) meeting and will continue after 1 pm with a symposium that is FREE for students and faculty to attend. There is an outstanding group of speakers for the afternoon including the NAE President Dan Mote, Dr. Dean Bartles the Executive Director of the Digital Manufacturing & Design Institute (DMDI), Tarence Beezhold from Boeing, and Sanjay Correa from GE Aviation and Manufacturing.
