Opportunities for the Stuart School in Entrepreneurship

  • Coleman Foundation Clinical Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship Nik Rokop

Abstract:

Join me for a short history of entrepreneurship at Stuart School of Business. I’ll provide some examples of former students who have had successful careers in the startup world. I will give a short overview of the Chicago entrepreneurial ecosystem, what is happening at the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship, and an overview of the Master of Technological Entrepreneurship program. We will discuss the role of entrepreneurship in accessing grants and explore opportunities for research in related fields. Finally, I’ll provide some resources you can use and share with your students.

All Illinois Tech faculty, students, and staff are invited to attend.

The Friday Research Presentations series showcases ongoing academic research projects conducted by Stuart School of Business faculty and students, as well as guest presentations by Illinois Tech colleagues, business professionals, and faculty from other leading business schools.
