Presentation on Sustainable Design and Construction at Argonne National Laboratory

The Windy City Chapter of International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) will be hosting presentations on sustainable design and construction at Argonne National Laboratory from 3-6 p.m. on August 11, 2014.

The event will provide presentations on various aspects of sustainable design and construction of new and retrofit of existing facilities at Argonne National Laboratory. At the conclusion of the presentations, group tours will be conducted of those buildings and sites presented. Tours will be interactive and allow for further discussion of the items and features being viewed. The program will focus on the campus as a whole and illustrate how building architecture, engineering, and site preservation interact in Argonne’s overall approach to sustainability.

I2SL Windy City Chapter specializes in training and education, research through international and industry collaboration, and technical assistance to help improve the energy and environmental sustainability of laboratories and related high-technology facilities worldwide.
