130 Hermanos/130 Children premiered in April 2022 at the Chicago Latino Film Festival, and stops at Illinois Tech before screening at the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival. 130 Hermanos/130 Children takes the viewer into the lives of Melba and Victor, a devout and traditional couple in Costa Rica who have formed an exceptional family. From what they considered a miracle, Melba decided to dedicate her life to do what she knew best: be a mom. Thus, for almost 40 years, they have adopted and raised dozens of boys and girls from vulnerable environments, with a total of more than 130 children. Today, the upbringing continues in this great home, with the adventures and difficulties of the almost 50 kids and youngsters who, thanks to Victor and Melba, are transforming their lives.

Parking is free and located across the street from the venue at 34th and State Street in lot D4.
