

Three Fellows Named

New IEEE Fellow
Zuyi Li, Grainger Endowed Chair in Electrical and Power Engineering and associate director of the Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation, was elected as a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for contributions to functional microgrid design and microgrid cybersecurity analyses.

New ASME Fellow
Professor Carrie Hall was elected as a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) for contributions to research and education in the field of automotive powertrain dynamics and control, particularly in the modeling and control of engine systems that leverage advanced combustion modes, and the development of estimation and control techniques that enable clean and efficient utilization of alternative liquid and gaseous fuels.

New ISIAQ Fellow
Brent Stephens, Arthur W. Hill Endowed Chair in Sustainability, was inducted into the Academy of Fellows of the International Society for Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ) for excellence in research, mentoring, service, and engagement of the ISIAQ community. Stephens is an expert in HVAC filtration, fate and transport of indoor pollutants, and human exposures to airborne pollutants.
