Program Highlights

Faculty-Led Academic Programming

You’ll take part in short lectures led by Illinois Tech faculty across a range of disciplines, including leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and academic and professional English.

English Language Enrichment

Strengthen your academic and conversational English through dynamic, interactive classes that build confidence for studying and communicating in global environments.

Cultural and Social Activities

Explore the vibrant city of Chicago through guided visits, cultural excursions, and social events. Discover American culture, make international friendships, and experience life in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

Program Duration: 2 weeks (7/20 to 7/31)

Requirements

  • Application
  • Confirmation of enrollment at the student’s current institution
  • English Test Score: IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, or a certified letter from a professor of English at the home institution indicating that the student has an intermediate level in English
  • Passport copy  

 

Students must be 18 or older

 

English Test Score: IELTS Academic (5.5 or above), TOEFL iBT or Home Edition (72 or above), Duolingo English Test (90 or above), or a certified letter from a professor of English at the home institution indicating that the student has an intermediate level in English
