IIT Assistant Director of Residence Life Elected To University Housing Organizations Post

Jennifer Sosnowski, assistant director of residence life at Illinois Institute of Technology , was elected Illinois State Delegate for the Great Lakes Association of Colleges and Universities Housing Organizations (GLACUHO) at the group’s regional conference this month.

Sosnowski will serve on the board of GLACUHO and act as the organization’s representative for Illinois colleges and universities.

“GLACUHO has given me great opportunities to grow professionally through presenting programs, attending the annual conference, and connecting with colleagues in the area. I now have the opportunity to help others have the same great experience,” said Sosnowski.

GLACUHO is an organization dedicated to improving the field of student housing, in areas such as dining services, residential life, residential services, and residential facilities provided by housing officers.

Founded in 1890, IIT is a Ph.D.-granting technological university awarding degrees in the sciences, mathematics and engineering, as well as architecture, psychology, design, business and law. IIT’s interprofessional, technology-focused curriculum prepares the university’s 6,200 students for leadership roles in an increasingly complex and culturally diverse global workplace.
