Building Systems Engineering (Minor)

Armour College of Engineering offers the Minor in Building Systems Engineering to prepare students with the analytical and problem-solving skills essential for working collaboratively with architects and other construction professionals to produce a variety of buildings, while designing buildings that consume the lowest amount of energy with minimal environmental impact.

Building systems engineers play an important role to ensure the safety and energy efficiency of buildings through the design, installation, operation, and monitoring of technical services. Coursework offerings may include fire protection and life safety, building enclosure design, and HVAC systems design.

Program Overview
