Rehabilitation Engineering Technology (Certificate)

The Certificate in Rehabilitation Engineering Technology provides quality pre-service and in-service training to rehabilitation agency personnel anywhere in the United States to meet individual rehabilitation needs of people with disabilities (specifically, rehabilitation technology services).

Learn how to 1) use technology, engineering methodologies, and scientific principles to address the needs of, and barriers confronted by, individuals with disabilities in areas ranging from education, rehabilitation and employment to transportation, independent living, and recreation and 2) increase awareness of the benefits of rehabilitation engineering technology as well as potential funding sources.

Three courses prepare you to be an expert/consultant in assistive technology used in rehabilitation.
