Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?

There's a big intersection between the Applied Math and Computer Science fields. I know that I want to work with data.

What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?

My favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program is the plentiful opportunities provided for community engagement.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

In 20 years, I hope to be working at a hedge fund, utilizing skills related to my math major. I want to be someone who can adapt to the constantly changing technology landscape. I hope I am surrounded by family and friends who are all healthy and happy.

How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?

I am a part of WiSTEM, which is an organization at Illinois Tech that aims to provide a supportive community to the gender minority groups on campus. Since I am the Treasurer of this organization, I learned how to advocate for this org and myself more effectively in hopes to benefit the trajectory of our goal and the people we want to reach.
