Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?

I am interested in how people interact with the designed world on individual and societal levels. Architecture has a lot of potential to positively contribute to people's lives, and I am optimistic about practicing this in my future.

What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?

The positive community in the Camras program is inspiring. Meeting other motivated students has pushed me outside my comfort zone to follow my passions on campus and contribute to the larger IIT community.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

I will be a practicing architect at a film in a city while teaching an architecture studio at a nearby university. My commute is a short walk, and I travel often with my family and friends.

How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?

In 2019 I founded, and now serve as the editor of, an on-campus publication, Cumulus, an annual printed archive of creative pursuits by IIT students. We published our third issue in  January of 2022, and have the fourth issue in the works. I also have become the director of  ArtxArchitecture, a student art collective and gallery space in the college of architecture.
