Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?
I have always had an interest in cars, and after attending a tour at Argonne National Laboratories in Lisle, IL I decided I wanted to work as a mechanical engineer with a specialization in smart cars and renewable energy,
What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?
The community that we have established around campus. It almost feels like a family because I am friends with a lot of them, but also we are able to network and collaborate in different classes that we take together.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Working hopefully in an engineering firm as a senior supervisor overseeing and training new talented individuals adjust to the corporate world...or a super-star in the NBA
How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?
I feel that I have learned that leadership is not about what you say and how it sounds but what you do and the values you live by. Not being too stuck up to roll-up your sleeves and help carry boxes out of the cafeteria of the elderly receptionist, or putting in extra effort to rally your team to a greater goal than individual accomplishments, even if you have to forfeit your own personal goals.
