Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?

I chose my majors because I'm fascinated by the topics and hope to go into medicine, which I feel my studies in these programs will prepare me for.

What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?

My favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program is how it provides students with a support system full of diverse, hardworking individuals before even their first day on campus.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

In twenty years, I hope to be practicing medicine. I would also love to have traveled across the world in this time and provided medical care to those in disadvantaged communities.

How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?

One project I was a part of that speaks about myself and represents the values of Camras is the Service Learning Trip I took to Ecuador with MEDLIFE. Throughout the trip, we operated free clinics in various low-income communities, providing services such as teaching children how to brush their teeth, helping the pharmacist distribute medication, and assisting the dentist in his procedures. We got to understand the state of healthcare in Ecuador, learn about their culture, and help however we could. We also grew closer to each other and the people of the communities we were working with.
