Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?

I chose my major because from a young age I was always very interested in designing and building things. Through my schooling, I was engaged in a lot of engineering type clubs and classes. I'm not completely sure what I want to do when I graduate but one of the main reasons that I chose engineering is because I am interested in solving global problems that the world is facing today. I really want to make a difference in the world and make people's lives better.

What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?

My favorite thing about the Camras Program is the people. I really like the community of scholars and the environment that it creates.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

In 20 years I see my self working at an engineering company. I really like to travel, so I'd like to work abroad.

How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?

As a student at IIT, I am involved in multiple organizations that show the values of the Camras Program. I am very interested in the environment and protecting our planet so I currently volunteer for an organization that helps to bring kids who don't have the opportunity to spend time outdoors in nature.
