Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?

My passions for problem solving, engineering, and computing all combined to make Computer Science the obvious choice for my college major. Areas of CS in which I'd like to work or do research in the future are PLT (programming language theory), computer graphics, and machine learning.

What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?

As an org leader on campus, I'm grateful for the Camras Scholars Program's core tenet of leadership. Being part of a network of other student leaders and aspiring professionals here at Illinois Tech is an invaluable aspect of Camras.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

In twenty years, I see myself as a professional software engineer or product manager delivering innovative experiences that connect the world together. Outside of work, I hope to bask in the temperate climates of the west coast, relish the time with my family, and indulge in tiramisu daily!

How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?

As the Vice President of the Association for Computing Machinery here at Illinois Tech, I'm proud that I'm able to spread my joy for computing to other students on campus! Whether it be discussing topics in computing, showing students how to solve interview problems, or hosting trivia nights, ACM has been a fulfilling way to exercise my leadership skills.
