Interested in how issues of sustainability and professional ethics affect decisions made in the workplace? Join us for an informal question and answer session with a panel of engineering directors from energy giant ComEd. The panel will be there to answer your questions about how their own understanding of professional ethics, social responsibility, and sustainability inform their daily work. The panelists will discuss how engineers can help foster a concern for sustainability in their co-workers and clients, how issues of ethics are considered in making small and large-scale decisions, and how to effectively and ethically manage public concerns about the environmental effects of a project.

The panel will be moderated by Dr. Vivian Weil and Kelly Laas of the Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions.

Lunch will be served.
