All About Stevia Leaf Sweetener




Join the Department of Food Science and Nutrition for this fall seminar series event featuring Fernando Martinez Jr., a project leader in the Technical Service Department at Ingredion Incorporated.

This presentation will provide a general overview of Stevia, its origin, manufacturing, the composition of the Stevia leaf, and its utilization in food and beverage applications. Guest speaker Fernando Martinez Jr. is a food scientist with 14 years of experience in the food industry. He has worked with ingredients including pea protein, corn-soluble fibers, maltodextrins, polyols, and Stevia leaf sweeteners.
