Hawk Preview Days is a series of events for admitted students that are designed to help you get to know the Illinois Tech community and to picture yourself as a student here. This year we're planning a series of three Hawk Preview Day sessions in February, March, and April. Each session will be an interactive virtual experience enabling admitted students from around the world to meet one another and connect over common interests and goals.

You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you want. Sessions will take place in the evening from 6:30–8 p.m. (Central Standard Time) and are designed to be as interactive as possible

The third and final session of the series will take place April 7–9. It is titled Solve Global Issues—Be a Catalyst for Change for Issues That Weigh on Your Community.

Illinois Tech empowers students to solve real-world problems and to use the knowledge that they obtain here—both in and outside of the classroom—to make a positive impact on the world and university community. Practicing the philosophy of leaving a place better than when you found it is the message of the third session. You will hear from Illinois Tech students who have identified needs and implemented positive change within the university community and around the world.

Keynote speakers will include Alex Kern (Chemical Engineering, 4th Year; Johnsburg, Illinois), Derek Rhea (Physics 3rd Year; Kansas City, Missouri), Rishabh Tyagi (Computer Science 2nd Year; New Delhi), and Jeannina Villalobos (Biomedical Engineering 4th Year; Chicago).
