Ever wonder what it’s like for current Illinois Tech students, or miss being back in the classroom yourself? Join us for Alumni Back to Class, where you will be able to attend a variety of live class sessions alongside current students. All registered participants will be emailed the links to join.
Course Title: CS 330 Discrete Structures
Time: 9:40 - 10:55 a.m.
Instructor: Michael K. Lee
Description: Introduction to the use of formal mathematical structures to represent problems and computational processes. Topics covered include Boolean algebra, first-order logic, recursive structures, graphs, and abstract language models.
Course Title: PHYS 427 Advanced Lab
Instructor: John Zasadzinski
Description: Experiments related to our present understanding of the physical world. Emphasis is on quantum phenomena in atomic, molecular, and condensed matter physics, along with the techniques of measurement and data analysis. The second semester stresses project-oriented experiments on modern topics including spectroscopy, condensed matter physics, and nuclear physics.
Course Title: BIOL 544 Molecular Biology of Cells
Instructor: Jialing Xiang
Description: This is a graduate-level cell biology course. The course contains two parts: initial lectures cover cellular structure and function emphasizing the molecular components, organelles, and regulation of cellular processes; the second part covers special topics emphasizing experimental approaches and molecular mechanisms of cellular regulation.

Join us for the first ever Virtual IPRO Student Project Presentation and Live Q&A hosted by JPMorgan Chase.
Hosted by Jesse Footlik (LAW '11), partner at Peck Ritchey LLC, join us to learn the basics of estate planning. All registered participants will be emailed a link to join prior to the event.
Join Illinois Tech Alumna and Director of the Mies van der Rohe Society, Cynthia Vranas Olsen (M.ARCH '01, Ph.D. '17) for a guided virtual tour of the Illinois Tech main campus. Following the tour, Cynthia will lead a live Q&A session with fellow Illinois Tech College of Architecture alums Dirk Lohan (FAIA) and Jong Soung Kimm (ARCH '61, M.S. '64, FAIA, FKIA), as well as Kevin Harrington (Professor Emeritus, Lewis College), to discuss the history and significance of the campus architecture. All registered participants will be emailed a Zoom link prior to the event.
Join us on September 25th from 3 - 5 PM to learn more about the esports industry and esports at Illinois Tech. Student leaders in esports will be giving a presentation about the collegiate esports scene as a whole and on campus. After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to watch a match featuring current students playing one of the many titles our esports teams participate in. We will have players standing by to answer your questions in the chat. Illinois Tech Esport's mission is to "engage the community in casual and competitive gaming scenes. Whether competing in high-level tournaments or a casual LAN party, our goal is to create a space for everyone to connect through gaming."
