Associate Professor Brent Stephens Co-Authors Paper Published in Science Translational Medicine

Brent Stephens, Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering in Armour College of Engineering's Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Department, had a paper he co-authored with colleagues from University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory published in Science Translational Medicine. The paper, “Bacterial colonization and succession in a newly opened hospital,” describes the results of a yearlong study of the bacterial diversity associated with the patients, staff, and built surfaces in a newly opened hospital.
