Built Environment Research Group (BERG) Project on Eco-Friendly 3D Printing Featured in Several Publications

Armour College of Engineering’s Built Environment Research Group (BERG) will work with Los Angeles based Clean Strands to conduct testing to find out what chemicals are being emitted into the air through 3D printing. The goal of the project is to set standards for safe indoor air quality when 3D printing with plastic filament. The work will be done under the direction of Brent Stephens, Assistant Professor of Architectural Engineering at Armour and Director of BERG. The story has been covered in several publications.
