Congratulations to 6 Illinois Tech ITM students who won ITF Fifty for the Future Awards

The 6 Information Technology and Management students were selected for the award from numerous submissions. All 6 were submitted by William Slater, III, Adjunct Industry Professor, Information Technology and Management.

The ITF Fifty for the Future® program mobilizes academia and industry to support students across Illinois universities who aspire to greatness in the field of technology. The students will be recognized at the annual event the ITF Fifty for the Future Awards ceremony on March 15.

Congratulations to the following winners:

Jinqing Huang
Ms. Jinqing Huang is a brilliant, dedicated, and outstanding student and IT professional. She did execellent course work in my Data Center Architecture class she completed earlier this month, and the paper she completed on the State and Progress of the Data Center Development was well-researched and we--written. In addition to all that she completed 7 voluntary Data Center-related certifications to expand her Data Center Architecture knowledge outside the classroom. She is a highly-motivated learner, and a huge asset to Illinois Tech and to her native country, China.

Nikita Kothari
Ms. Nikita Kothari is a brilliant, dedicated, and outstanding student and IT professional. She did excellent course work in my Data Center Architecture class she completed earlier this month, and the paper she completed on the Building a Secure Data Center in 2017: Modern Threats and Modern Defenses was well-researched and well-written. She is a highly-motivated learner, and a huge asset to Illinois Tech and to her native country, India.

Moein Mayeh
Mr. Moein Mayeh is a brilliant, dedicated, and outstanding Illinois Tech student and IT professional. He did excellent course work in both my Spring 2017 Data Warehousing class and my Data Center Architecture class he completed earlier this month. The paper he completed on Modern Threats and Modern Defenses: Building a Secure Data Center in 2017 was well-researched and well-written. He is a highly-motivated learner, and a huge asset to Illinois Tech and to his native country, Iran.

Dhivya Venkatachalam
Ms. Dhivya Venkatachalam is a brilliant, dedicated, and outstanding Illinois Tech student and IT professional. She did excellent course work in my Data Center Architecture class she completed earlier this month. The paper she completed on The Importance and Development of Data Center Efficiency Trends - From P.U.E. to W.U.E. and C.U.E. was extremely well-researched and well-written, and it was the single BEST paper that has ever been submitted in the seven years of classes I have taught at IIT. She is a highly-motivated learner, and a huge asset to Illinois Tech and to her native country, India.

Uday Tak
Mr. Uday Tak is a brilliant, dedicated, and outstanding Illinois Tech student and IT professional. He did excellent course work in my Spring 2017 Data Warehousing class, he is so talented that he was accepted into an internship at a high-tech company in California and he is now competing his IIT coursework online as a remote student. He is a highly-motivated learner, and a huge asset to Illinois Tech and to his native country, India.

Mohnish Anand
Mr. Mohnish Anand is a brilliant, dedicated, and outstanding Illinois Tech student and IT professional. He did excellent course work in my Data Center Architecture class he completed earlier this month. The paper he completed on Open Compute Project, challenges faced in the cloud and UEFI was well-researched and well-written, and it was one of the very best papers submitted by any of my students in the Fall 2017 semester. He is a highly-motivated learner, and a huge asset to Illinois Tech and to his native country, India.
