Lindsay Sheehan received the Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award for her research titled, "Training and Development to Engage African Americans with Mental Illness as Research Leaders."

Undergraduate psychology major Maya Al-Khouja received the Abraham Lincoln Civic Engagement Award. She was recognized by Governor Rauner and The Lincoln Academy of Illinois in Springfield in November.
