Engineers Without Borders – IIT Case Study Published in International Journal of Service Learning in Engineering

The IIT chapter of Engineers Without Borders recently had a case study published in a special edition of the International Journal for Service Learning in Engineering, Humanitarian Engineering and Social Entrepreneurship (IJSLE) focusing on the critical analyses and reflection of university engineering programs that impact communities.

The study, titled Case Studies from a Community-Focused Engineering Program with Projects in Haiti and Nicaragua, was written by Sara Glade (Masters, Environmental Engineering) and Cara Karter (third-year undergraduate, Social and Economic Development Policy) under the direction of Krishna Pagilla, Professor of Environmental Engineering at Armour College.
