Entrepreneurs Needed for Start-up Event: Campus 1871

Announcing the return of an incredible opportunity for Armour College of Engineering entrepreneurs at 1871, Chicago’s hub for tech startups. Campus 1871 is a weekend-long (April 10-12), start-up event for students at Illinois Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, Loyola University, University of Chicago and University of Illinois.

At Campus 1871, students will have the opportunity to meet some of the brightest and most ambitious students from other universities as they work in teams to create startups of their own. Attendees can take advantage of unique business resources, opportunities, and expertise from some of Chicago’s most talented founders and startup teams. There will also be Startup 101 courses, and keynotes from surprise tech leaders throughout the weekend. A Grand Prize will be awarded to the winning team.

Space is limited, only 100 students (20 from each school) will be accepted into the event. Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

Transportation and hotel rooms will be provided.
