IIT-CSCMP Chicago Roundtable Members and Guests Learn from Young Professionals

The IIT-CSCMP Chicago Roundtable hosted an April event featuring the CSCMP Chicago Round table Young Professionals Chair, Megan Weldon, and VP of Programs, Susanna Bodnar. Weldon is a Senior Consultant for Clarkston Consulting, focusing on the consumer healthcare industry. Bodnar is the Corporate Manager for Retail Support at ACE Hardware. Both brought insights from their significant experience in Supply Chain and involvement in the CSCMP Organization. IIT attendees heard about the latest trends in Supply Chain and how technology and analytics have become major parts of today’s job responsibilities in the field. Pramodh Sharma Kocherlakota, President, CSCMP IIT Chicago Student Chapter, says he was inspired to continue taking supply chain courses by hearing from the professionals how exciting it is to be part of a Supply Chain team. The speakers encouraged students to be part of CSCMP as Young Professionals, and to take advantage of the events, networking opportunities, and other membership benefits offered by the organization.
