IIT Stuart MPA Program and ASPA Honor Outstanding Student and Alumnus

IIT Stuart student Carol Sharp (M.P.A. ‘14) and alumnus Raymond Cordell (M.P.A. ‘11), deputy police chief of South Barrington, Illinois, were honored by the Chicago Chapter of American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) at ASPA’s awards ceremony held on Friday, April 25 at the IIT Stuart Downtown Campus. Sharp (pictured at right with Roland Calia, Director of the Graduate Program in Public Administration) was recognized for her academic excellence; Cordell was honored for his service in the public sector. Toni Preckwinkle, Cook County Board President, was the guest of honor. The event featured students, faculty, and alumni from all of the public administration programs in the Chicago-area.
