IIT Stuart MPA Program and ASPA to Honor Outstanding Student and Alumnus

The 2014 American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Chicago chapter will host an awards ceremony and reception on Friday, April 25 at the IIT Downtown Campus in the 10th Floor reception room. The free event includes a reception starting at 4 pm, with the awards presentations commencing at 4:30 pm. For over 25 years, the American Society for Public Administration – Greater Chicago Chapter has recognized outstanding public administration students and alumni from Chicago area graduate public administration schools. This year, IIT Stuart has nominated Carol Sharp (M.P.A. ‘14) for the 2014 outstanding student award based on her record of academic excellence. Alumnus Raymond Cordell (M.P.A. ‘11), deputy police chief of South Barrington, Illinois will be honored for his outstanding record of service in the public sector. Toni Preckwinkle, Cook County Board President, will be the guest of honor at the event.
