IIT Stuart Team Competes in CME Group’s Trading Challenge Championship

Over 385 teams from around the globe participated in the 2014 CME Group Trading Challenge, and a team from IIT Stuart made it to the championship round, finishing in the top 10 percent of all competitors. The team was led by advisor Li Cai, Assistant Professor of Finance, and featured M.S. Finance students Lei Liu (team leader), Bingkun Wang, Jianrong Wang, Yang Cao, and Ken Zhang.

CME Group Trading Challenge is a four-week electronic trading competition where teams of undergraduate and graduate students can trade CME Group products in a simulated trading environment on a real-time professional trading platform provided by CQG. A total of four IIT Stuart teams entered the competition.
