Industry Professor Gurram Gopal Publishes Article on Supply Chain Project Management

In looking to streamline how companies select supply chain management projects, Gurram Gopal, industry professor of Industrial Technology and Management at Illinois Institute of Technology, and Fabian Moreno, now a graduate of the Industrial Technology and Management program in the School of Applied Technology, collaborated on a special project to look at new ways of approaching this issue.

The results from that project were recently published in SCM Now, the official magazine of the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM). Gopal and Moreno’s article titled “Assembling a Sturdy Project Structure” provided the details of a step-by-step approach that companies could take to ensure they’re most effectively selecting, managing, and executing their supply chain projects.
