INTM Alum Chris Anderson: A Rising Star with Anheuser Busch InBev

Date

Chris Anderson (BINTM ’12) is an integral part of the success of Goose Island, one of Chicago’s most well-known beer companies. Chris started at Goose Island as a brewer. He was promoted to Supply Chain Manager, and was asked to help integrate the supply chain of Goose Island with that of its new owners, Anheuser Busch InBev. In late 2015, Chris’ hard work and attention to detail was recognized with another promotion. Chris is now Process Specialist in the Planning Group at Anheuser Busch InBev corporate headquarters in St. Louis. Congratulations, Chris!

Chris’ rise within Goose Island and Anheuser Busch InBev began while he was completing his bachelors degree in Industrial Technology and Management (BINTM) at Illinois Tech. He completed a specialization in Supply Chain Management and focused on taking courses which would help him to effect positive changes and improve the overall operations of the company. He learned about sustainable practices in manufacturing, energy issues, warehousing and distribution, logistics, and quality. Chris was fortunate to work in an environment that valued innovation, and he took advantage of the opportunities that he found to apply his new skills and knowledge.

INTM would like to acknowledge Chris, and all of our Alumni, for their accomplishments and contributions to industry. They are helping to open doors for future generations of workers who will use technology to enhance production and operations, and create better business practices in ways that are not yet fully known.

INTM invites all alumni to share their successes with our faculty, other alum, current students, and prospective students. If you would like to connect with INTM as a featured speaker, host a plant tour, promote your internship or job opportunities, or share your story.
