Congratulations to all students who participated in the Lewis College of Human Sciences fourth annual Undergraduate Research Day!

The competition's winners are as follows:

First place: Andres Abeliuk, Natalie Herrmann, Fred Morstatter, and Jessica Ortez (faculty mentor: Gregory Chasson, associate professor of psychology), for their project "Forecasting Superforecasters."

Second place: Erin Monforti (faculty mentor: Hao Huang, assistant professor of social sciences), for her project "Economic Development Strategies: The Efficacy and Integrity of Tax Increment Financing in Chicago."

Third place: Vinesh Kannan (faculty mentors: Matthew Shapiro, associate professor of political science, and Mustafa Bilgic, associate professor of computer science), for his project "Hindsight Analysis of the Chicago Food Inspection Forecasting Model."
