Associate Professor of Political Science Matt Shapiro published a new article in the December 2019 issue of Global Asia. Titled "Transboundary Air Pollution in Northeast Asia and Lessons from North America," the piece discusses the history of collaboration between the United States and Canada to address transboundary air pollution, and how their example might serve as a useful model for China, Japan, and South Korea as the three nations work to address air pollution problems plaguing Northeast Asia.

For more information on Shapiro's research on air pollution in Northeast Asia, check out the Fall 2019 issue of Big Picture, the Lewis College magazine, where Shapiro is the subject of a feature story.
