Policymakers Take Notice of Wagman's Research on Effects of GDPR

Associate Professor of Economics Liad Wagman and colleagues, including Stuart Ph.D. student Jian Jia, are conducting research on economic effects of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), beginning with the impact on technology venture investment.

What they have discovered has caught the attention of government officials, policymakers, and academics, including officials at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the White House Council of Economic Advisors. Read about it in the spring 2019 Illinois Tech magazine.
