The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) announced that Stuart School of Business at Illinois Institute of Technology has earned a five-year accreditation extension for its business degree programs.

AACSB accreditation is widely recognized as the most prestigious form of accreditation for business schools and has been earned by fewer than 6 percent of all business schools globally, with AACSB members located in 60 countries and territories.

“We are thrilled to receive this renewal of accreditation from AACSB,” says Liad Wagman, John and Mae Calamos Dean Endowed Chair at Stuart. “It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends, and it highlights the excellence of our programs, our stakeholders, and the societal impact we are making.”

“AACSB accreditation is an important recognition for the Stuart School of Business,” Wagman notes, “and we are proud to be among the small group of business schools worldwide that have earned this distinction.”

Stuart has been accredited by AACSB since 1999. The AACSB accreditation process includes a thorough review of an institution’s mission, operations, programs, societal impact, and faculty qualifications.
