Study Abroad Trip to Scotland

Date

This past summer, students enjoyed a study abroad trip to the University of Stirling in Scotland. They took two courses: Scottish Politics with Industry Associate Professor Rebecca Steffenson and Transnational Cinema with Assistant Professor of Digital Humanities and Media Studies Carly Kocurek.

Undergraduate student Catherine Cusack called the trip "a life changing experience." Students enjoyed excursions to the University of Glasgow, the Wallace Monument, and Scottish Parliament, among others. They met other international students and learned about Scottish culture. The group also went to Belfast in Northern Ireland, which Cusack called her most memorable trip.
